Design description
All children born from September 21, 1959 to December 21, 1961 and there mothers were examined during pregnancy and at an antenatal visit at the hospital. The children were invited to follow-up examinations at 1, 3 and 6 years of age, which were done at the hospital. At the age of 41–43 years study participants were sent a questionnaire on lifestyle risk factors and health issues. Moreover, the children and their mothers are followed in national registers.

Microdata is not provided from Statistics Denmark.
