- Currently the registry is able to map oncological disease using the ISTAT census sections with the consequent possibility of linking other information relating to the general population such as those produced by Istat with the 'General Population and Housing Censuses' or the 'Censuses of the Industry and Services'. In this way it is possible to associate indicators of social status, deprivation factors and environmental characteristics. Furthermore, the knowledge of the geographic coordinates of residential civics makes it possible to carry out statistical analyses in generic areas of interest that are completely independent from any existing geographic partition.
